Visit the HorrorMods download page or Modrinth to grab the latest modpack file.

1. Go to HorrorMods and click Download
2. Choose your desired mod selection (Horror, Game-Inspired, Realism)
3. Save the .zip file to a memorable location

If you don't have CurseForge installed, download it from curseforge.com.

1. Launch the CurseForge application
2. Sign in with your account (or create one)
3. Navigate to the Minecraft section

Create a new Minecraft profile in CurseForge to house the modpack.

1. Click Create Custom Profile
2. Select Minecraft version 1.21.1
3. Choose Fabric or Forge as your mod loader
4. Name your profile (e.g., "HorrorMods")

Import the downloaded modpack zip file into your new CurseForge profile.

1. Open your newly created profile
2. Click the ... menu and select Import
3. Locate and select the HorrorMods .zip file
4. Confirm the import

CurseForge will automatically download and install all required mods (~50MB).

1. A progress bar will appear showing download status
2. All mods will be verified automatically
3. Do not close CurseForge during this process

Optimize your Minecraft settings for the best HorrorMods experience.

1. Allocate 6–8 GB of RAM in CurseForge profile settings
2. Set render distance to 8–12 chunks for performance
3. Enable VSync if you experience screen tearing
4. Adjust FOV and sensitivity to your preference

2. Create a new world or load an existing one
